VLCDs 7 and 8

Weight Loss: 2.6 lbs
Total Loss:  10.8 lbs

I had two good days after two hard days!  1.2 lbs lost the first day and 1.4 lbs lost the next.  I drank a TON of water yesterday so I'm thinking that helped.  I posted my first vlog!

VLCDs 6 and 7

Weight loss: 1 lb
Total weight loss: 8.2 lbs.

Only one pound in two days!  I get nervous that it's slowing so much!  Tomorrow I am going to have my weight after 7 full days doing vlcd and I'm also going to take my measurements again so I'm going to make a video to post on youtube.

My Goal Weight

I decided that my goal weight for this round is going to be 182.5.  I want to lose 80 pounds and hope to do it in 3 rounds, which means a release of about 26.5 lbs each round.  I should be able to do 26.5 lbs in 43 days, right?

VLCD 5

Weight: 202.0 lbs
Total loss: 7.2 lbs

yesterday was a rough day.  And I didn't end up eating vegetables and only one of my servings of fruit.  I went to a Dodger game with a huge group of friends.  Sporting events have some of my favorite foods...nachos, buttery popcorn, DIPPIN DOTS...but I didn't cheat at all.  it was great to go out and do something social as that's really difficult on this diet.

here is the Recipe for the Mexican Chicken Soup I was so excited about the other day.  I will probably eat this at least 3 times a week...like I said, it actually made me feel full.

VLCD 4

Weight: 202.8
Total Loss: 6.4 lbs.  

I am very fearful of low weight loss days and gains petrify me.

Yesterday I ate the same cilantro lime shrimp for lunch and a mexican soup for dinner.  I'll post the recipe soon.  The soup made great diet food.  I ate three bowl fulls and was STUFFED.  Being stuffed felt really great.

VLCD 3

Weight: 204
Total Weight Loss: 5.2 lbs

Woot!  It's exciting to lose weight, isn't it?

Yesterday I had shrimp with a cilantro lime sauce for lunch.  I made this chicken broth and then used it to make this lemon chicken soup.  The soup wasn't that good.  I think I may have used too much water and not enough chicken for the broth.

Yesterday I used lime juice instead of lemon juice to make my strawberry smoothie and I am converted!  it makes such a big portion and is so sweet that it seems nothing like diet food.

Yay!  It's so exciting to see the number on the scale go down!  I just woke up so I can't report what I've eaten yet but...

HAVE YOU SEEN THIS BLOG???  This woman is amazing.  It makes me so much more excited about being on this diet.  yipee!
